There are many different ways to decorate your nursery. One great way to decorate a baby?s room is by using stencils. iStencils offers over 2,600 stencil designs on their website. With so many designs offered new parents are sure to find a stencil that will fit into the theme of their nursery. The nice thing about these stencils as they are not limited to use on walls. You can use them for any craft project imaginable!
If you have never used stencils before, it is a great idea to plan on practicing a couple of times before you actually stencil your baby?s room though the entire process is quite simple.
Make sure the walls are prepped and clean.?You will also notice that we taped the stencil on to the wall with masking tape. To apply the paint, we used a foam roller and a small brush. We opted to use a paint tray, which allowed us to use very small amounts of paint, to the point that you could barely even see it on the roller itself.? We also kept a paper towel nearby for blotting off excess. With the stencil all level and taped to the wall,? my husband just started rolling! After removing the stencil, things were looking pretty good!
